Nowadays, if you scroll through Instagram or TikTok, or any other social media platform, you’ll notice that fashion seems to mean showing more and more skin. Many people say fashion means showing a lot of skin. It feels like a contest to see who can wear the least fabric. Everywhere we look, some girls and women wear clothes that are very revealing. But here’s the truth: you don’t have to show everything to look amazing.
Modesty is not boring or old-fashioned. It is actually very stylish. There is a special kind of charm and class in wearing clothes that are neat, well-fitted, and leave some things to the imagination. Whether it’s a simple midi dress, a sharp blazer, or a matching set that fits just right, modest clothes can make you look confident and elegant. This kind of fashion is becoming popular, but it’s important to remember that modesty is still beautiful and respectful. However, no matter how a girl dresses, it should never be a reason for anyone to hurt or disrespect her. Before we talk about style, remember this: a girl’s clothes should never be used to justify rape or any kind of abuse.
Rape is about control and lack of permission—it is never about the clothes. Every woman should feel safe to wear what she wants without fear. Rape and abuse are serious crimes, and they have nothing to do with what someone is wearing. The person who does such bad things is the one to blame, not the clothes.

Being modest doesn’t mean you can’t look good or stylish. So, to every girl trying to find her own style: don’t let social media pressure change what you love to wear. If modest fashion is your choice, be proud of it. You are not missing any trend. You can be classic, trendy and elegant by being modest.
True style is about feeling confident and respecting yourself. When you dress modestly, you show that you value yourself and your worth. Let’s encourage each other to remember that modesty is stylish and that respect and kindness should always come first.
Clothes do not give anyone the right to harm others.
“Confidence comes from within and not by nudity for trend sake”
